Building Customer Loyalty
As part of Meridian Energy’s on-going commitment to sustainability, and helping consumers reduce their energy usage, Meridian has rolled-out Cortexo’s service to 40,000 of its Christchurch customers.
Meridian has found that using Cortexo has motivated customers to change their energy usage behaviour. “One individual wrote to us and said that with their heat pump on the blink they had switched to an electric heater – within 24 hours their Daily Energy Report had shown them that with very high running costs that wasn’t going to be a long-term solution,” says Meridian’s Retail General Manager Bill Highet.
