Benefits of monitoring all engines includes:

  • Eliminates the need to put in place additional systems (and related staff) for customer and technical support services that are capable of operating "blind" (without data).
  • Eliminates the need to implement manual systems for confirming engines have been correctly commissioned. Allowance for manual systems would slow the commissioning cycle.
  • Can consistently on sell services to the entire customer base (as opposed to having to tailor services for customers without monitored engines).
  • Adds far more benefit to power distributors who have information from (and the ability to control) the whole generation base.
  • Having complete statistical QA information across the whole product base rather than having "gaps" in the data.
