Using Cortexo, transmission and distribution companies can easily buy and re-distribute excess or energy generated by home dvices as needed. For example, Cortexo allows you to monitor all solar panels in a suburb or region and in times of excessive demand buy back energy units that consumers have generated themselves using solar panels or micro-CHP devices

Cortexo helps energy retailers know more about their customer’s energy usage.

• Offer incentives to customers (e.g. cheaper power rates) to help change energy usage patterns and to free up energy during peak demand periods
