PCG Server

This is the central server which is capable of gathering a wide range of information from many sources and presenting the information to many users concurrently using standard web browsers. Within PCG Server there are a number of modules which provide functionality to the core server. For more complex systems, multiple servers can be "Cascaded" together to provide a central hierarchal view of all corporate monitoring systems / plants.

PCG RCU

This is a "Remote Communications Unit". It is responsible for gathering data from one or more sources and ensuring safe, cost effective and secure delivery to a PCG Server. Typically there would be one RCU per plant or equipment being monitored although one RCU can monitor multiple items in the same location.
