We provide a platform of tools to individuals and businesses to allow them to manage and control their own electricity use automatically or manually based on pricing signals. We provide education through online programs available through a community of interested people who interact via social media.
Users can also evaluate options for saving based on different technologies by applying data from real examples from similar people to their own situation.

Terry Paddy

Managing Director

Terry began his career with Royal New Zealand Air Force, spending 13 years in training and management positions as a pilot.

After the RNZAF Terry joined Ansett New Zealand, a first level domestic airline and he flew with them as a Line Pilot, Instructor and Civil Aviation Flight Examiner. Since 1999 he has been a director of Cortexo and its associated companies.

A Chartered Company Secretary and Administrator (ACIS), Terry is also a member of the New Zealand institute of Directors and is on the executive committees of the New Zealand Software Association and Canterbury Software Incorporated.



Jonathan Wilson

Technical Director

Within his 20 plus years in Commercial Software Development, Jonathan has 4 years Senior Management experience at Dynamic Controls Limited, an electronics manufacturing company turning over 50 million dollars a year, and another 12 years Project Management experience.


He is fully conversant with Java, C++, Visual Basic and many Embedded Microcontroller Languages. In addition Jonathan has worked as a Senior Engineer for a number of years designing and developing electronics equipment. Jon also qualified for his Commercial Pilots Licence in 1990, and gained his Instrument Rating and Senior Commercial papers.



Steve Wilson

Advisory board member

Managing Director of Talbot Plastics, a technical injection moulding company based in Christchurch, Steve began his career as a Mechanical Engineer, having graduated from Canterbury University with a B.E. (1st Class Hon). He has had 32 years experience as a CEO of companies primarily in the Garments and Plastics Industries.


Steve is a director of a number of technology and industrial sector companies, including Solar Bright Ltd, Sulo Talbot Ltd and Powerhouse Ltd.

Awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to Industry by the New Zealand Government, Steve is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management.



Dave Tinkler

Advisory board member

Dave is joint founder and owner of Holliday Limited, a Christchurch investment company focusing on software and electronics organisations. Holliday Corporation specialises in taking NZ businesses to export markets and has extensive experience of the UK market.

Dave is originally from England and since his arrival in NZ in 1984 has returned twice, including four years establishing NZ originated mobile software company, iTouch Business Mobility, as a significant UK player.

Dave has spent over 20 years in the IT industry and his roles have included Software Services and e-Business General Manager at gen-i, and Managing Director of iTouch Business Mobility.
